Phyllis McGrath is an experienced corporate foundation manager, having served as an officer of The General Electric Foundation before joining Lucent Technologies as Vice President, Foundation Programs. McGrath has worked in the U.S. and around the world on program strategy and development, creation of foundations, and evaluation of programs. As a volunteer, she chaired the Board of Scholarship America, the largest non-profit student financial aid organization in the U.S. Under her leadership the organization created the $135 Million Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund, for children and spouses of 9/11 victims, co-chaired by former President Bill Clinton and former Senator Bob Dole. She has served on many local, state, national and international Boards of non-profits.
